Trump Claims "Good" Options Emerge in TikTok Sale Talks

US President Donald Trump stated on Sunday that his administration is in discussions with four different groups regarding the sale of TikTok, a popular video-sharing platform owned by Chinese company ByteDance.

"We're dealing with four different groups, and a lot of people want it ... all four are good," Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One, as reported by Reuters.

The future of TikTok has been uncertain since a law took effect on January 19, requiring ByteDance to either sell the platform or face a ban on national security grounds. Trump, who assumed office on January 20, issued an executive order delaying the law's enforcement by 75 days.

When asked about the possibility of an imminent deal, Trump hinted that progress was being made, stating, "it could."

TikTok and ByteDance have yet to respond to Reuters' requests for comment.

The potential sale of TikTok has attracted significant interest from various parties, including former Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt. Analysts estimate TikTok's valuation to be as high as $50 billion.
