Adobe Names Lara Balazs as New Chief Marketing Officer

Adobe has appointed Lara Balazs as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Executive Vice President, Global Marketing, reporting directly to CEO Shantanu Narayen, the company announced on Monday. Balazs joins Adobe from Intuit, where she served as CMO and General Manager of the Strategic Partner Group.

In her new role, Balazs will oversee Adobe's Global Marketing Organization, responsible for the company's brand, website (Adobe.com), events, campaigns, communications, social media presence, media operations, and marketing insights.

Balazs brings extensive experience in marketing leadership roles at prominent companies such as Amazon, Visa, and Nike. Adobe highlights her key achievements, including driving the growth of Amazon Prime and Visa globally, and leading Visa's transition to digital payments with the introduction of mobile-first products like Visa Checkout and Apple Pay. At Intuit, she led the ProTax Group to its highest sustained growth in years and significantly improved the company's brand awareness and reputation.

Recognized for her contributions to the marketing field, Balazs has been named to Forbes’ list of the World’s Most Influential CMOs and is a recipient of AdWeek's CMO Vanguard Award. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
